Volunteers
Level II Clearance is required if you are driving students, chaperoning an event when you are not in direct site of a staff member, or working with children outside of the classroom. Level II Clearance passes expire after five years.
How to fulfill your volunteer hours
Join the PTO and participate in one of the school community events.
Spend time in the cafeteria and on the playground assisting teachers with lunch and recess.
Donate your time to teaching an enrichment class.
Serve as a reading buddy for a student.
Chaperone a field trip.
Attend academic events and parent-teacher conferences.
Complete your registration forms by the deadline.
Complete your Impact Aid card.
Supervise and help coordinate a middle school dance.
Contact your child's teacher for clerical help you can do from home.
Attend PTO or SCS Board Meetings.
Come to the Parent Coffee Clatches.
Find classroom sponsorships.
Shelve books in the library.
Serve as a substitute.
Attend Saturday landscaping projects
