Application and Registration
The application window for our lottery is officially open. Use the link above to complete an application and remember to complete one for each student wanting to attend our school. The lottery will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 6th. We will promptly confirm receipt of your application. Please contact Mrs. Rosch via e-mail (Leslie.Rosch@Sigsbee.org) or by calling (305) 294-1861 if you have any questions.
Post Lottery Process
Once the lottery is held, the results are reviewed by staff, then all participants are notified via email of the lottery results. Those receiving offers to join our school will receive instructions on how to register their student(s). Families have 14 days to complete the registration process. After this time, if the registration form is incomplete and if the family has not contacted the school, the offer will be retracted and the next family on the waiting list will be contacted to register their student with us. Families receiving notice that their child is waitlisted will know what position they have. Please know that rosters fluctuate throughout the summer as we receive word of families unexpectedly leaving or staying.
Registration Documents
For students who have already been offered admission to Sigsbee Charter School:
You will receive an e-mail message inviting you to register your student with our school. Our registration process is completely paperless. There are uploadable fields to accommodate pdf or jpeg files of the below-listed documents. Please communicate with the Enrollment Specialist if you have any questions or concerns.
Please create pdf versions of these documents for uploading to the electronic registration form:
Copy of Birth Certificate
Florida School Entry Physical
Current immunization records
Parent/Guardian drivers licenses (civilians only)
(A copy of the social security card is requested, but not required.)
Prior middle school courses, grades and the 23/24 schedule being offered had your student not moved, if applying for 7th or 8th grade
Court Custody documents if applicable
Special Education Plan (IEP, EP, 504 Plan) and the evaluation qualifying the student for the program
We never enjoy losing our students though we know new experiences are part of growing up. Your early notification of student withdrawal allows us to appropriately plan for students on our waiting list and ensures that we can organize your child's school records in a timely manner. You may contact Mrs. Rosch, our Enrollment Specialist, with any questions (Leslie.Rosch@sigsbee.org). Use the withdrawal form link above to start the process. Please provide 2 weeks notice.
