Bob Eadie

President

Bob Eadie is the Administrator of the Monroe County Health Department. During his 30 years in Public Health, Bob has served as Deputy Director and Department Counsel as well as the Director of Finance & Administration for the Metro Public Health Department in Nashville, Tennessee, and as Deputy Secretary for the Florida Department of Health in Tallahassee before moving to the Keys in 2007. He received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Vanderbilt University and practiced law for the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davisdon County before transitioning to Public Health. He is actively involved in the Military Affairs Committee, Sunrise Rotary, Florida Association of County Health Officers, National Association of City and County Health Officers, Florida Public Health Association, and is currently participating in Leadership Monroe as well as the Key West Ambassador program. Bob is an avid fisherman and enjoys spending time on the water off the Florida Keys.

Eric Hancock

Eric Hancock is the Anti-Terrorism Officer for Naval Air Station Key West. He has served in the Navy for 19 years and has completed tours in: Jacksonville, Fl.; Iceland; Puerto Rico; Athens, Georgia; Iraq; and Bahrain. He has an AA Degree from Coastline Community College and is an active member of the Key West area Chief Petty Officers Association, which is an avid supporter of numerous local organizations. Eric, his wife Beth, and three boys moved to Key West in 2009, and his youngest son is currently attending Sigsbee Charter School.

Tom Walsh

Tom Walsh is currently in charge of response operations at Coast Guard Sector Key West. Tom recently returned back to Key West following a previous military assignment in the mid 1990s. He most recently spent four years at Coast Guard Headquarters where he oversaw all operational training and education for Coast Guard personnel. Tom brings a variety of budgeting, contracting, curriculum development, and educational technology skills to the Board. Tom holds a Masters in Instructional Systems from Florida State University, as well as a Masters in Business Administration from Old Dominion University. He is interested in creating a charter school that leverages the unique marine environment of the Keys to provide a superior educational experience. Tom has three children currently attending Sigsbee Charter School.

Christine Geary

Christine Geary is an attorney in Key West where she and her husband Barry have lived for almost 15 years. They own Shanna Key Irish Pub & Grill located in Key West. She and her husband have 3 children ages 9, 8, and 6, who currently attend Sigsbee charter. A former educator with a Master's degree from Ole Miss, Christine has been a teacher, a district administrator, and a charter school principal. Christine is a long-standing member of the Southernmost Bibliophiles, a Key West book club that has met monthly for over a decade. She and her husband also sponsor girl's AYSO soccer, the Key West HS Conch football team, and the Key West Rugby team.

Sandra Higgs

Sandy Higgs is a long standing member of the community with vast experience in local and state government. She is efficient, effective and knowledgeable about the Florida Keys, and has worked in networking numerous community agencies to achieve high objectives. Sandy is credited with developing a National Award winning hand-washing campaign. She received the Acts of Caring Award from the National Association of Counties for the Dental Sealant Campaign, 2003, and has been recognized as Rotarian of the Year in 2008. Sandy is a long time supporter of all military services in the Florida Keys. She is interested in the creation of a charter school that will address the needs of the military families in the Lower Keys.

Amanda Fry

Amanda Fry is a Sigsbee Parent and has lived in Key West since July of 2009. She was a teacher for 10 years, teaching grades from Preschool up to and including Second grade. She has worked as a Camp Director for a Public School Summer Camp Program and has extensive experience as a Before and After Care Coordinator. Amanda has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Pennsylvania State University in Kindergarten and Elementary Education. Right now Amanda is focusing on her Coast Guard husband and two daughters and is very involved as a school volunteer.

Jim Wallace

Jim Wallace, his wife Teresa, and their son Luke just recently relocated from Ohio to Key West where they purchased Joy Gallery on Historic Duval Street. Prior to moving to Key West Jim has spent the last twenty plus years in transportation, safety, DOT and OSHA compliance. He has served on several national committees with the American Trucking Association as well as the Tennessee, Indiana, Mississippi and Missouri Claims Associations. Jim looks forward to helping Sigsbee develop a safe and effective transportation program for the students.
